Description
Safe2Play is a safety flooring system made of closed-cell crosslinked polyethylene foams which are interlocking plates and on top of them is placed an artificial turf with at least 22mm pile height. The system has no joints and is fastened around the perimeter. Subsequently silica sand in the amount of 25 kg per square meter is placed in the lawn to give stability and weight to the whole system.
Safe2Play surface is certified with EN 1177:2018 and is fully harmonized with the European Regulation REACH point 50 (5) of Annex XVII for the content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in a percentage of much less than 0.0001% by weight.
Safe2Play system is available in various thicknesses according to the CFH – Critical Fall Height of each playground equipment providing protection from 0.80m up to 3.0m.
The Safe2Play system can be installed directly on a well compacted gravel base and does not need a concrete subbase.
